PLAN YOUR NEXT STEP

Prepare for an agent
introduction in three steps.

  1. Check the numbers. Look up the county or ZIP on our market data pages: the median price, how fast homes sell and how far prices have moved in a year.
  2. Write down your constraints. A move date, a budget ceiling, the tax base you hope to keep under Prop 19, or a need for a quick sale.
  3. Talk to a local agent. Send an enquiry and we introduce the featured agent for that place, a licensed California agent. Ask who would represent you and how they are paid.

You can start while you are still exploring. How we choose featured agents.

WHO YOU WILL TALK TO

A featured local agent
in every place we cover.

Each city and neighborhood guide names one featured local agent, licensed with the California Department of Real Estate and active in that place. Featured agents do not write or approve our guides or change any number on the site.
